Hugo Planning Commission <br />July 139 1977 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Fred Fulbright - Rezoning <br />Peloquin asked Fulbright if he would mind just rezoning the land in the <br />back, and leave the front section zoned RB. Mr. Fulbright said he <br />would not have problem with that. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, that the Planning <br />Commission recommend that the request of Mr. Fred Fulbright for rezoning <br />from RB to SFE be granted, and to include the property owned by Mr. <br />Pugh. Mr. Pugh was present at the meeting and agreed with the re- <br />commendation. The property owned by Mr. Pugh is surrounded by the <br />property of Mr. Fulbright, and, therefore, it would be a practical <br />matter to rezone it all. <br />VOTING FOR: Ehret, Peltier, Greger, and McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Peloquin and Gillen <br />Motion Carried. <br />Charles Mussehl - Special Use Permit <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Gillen, that the Planning <br />Commission recommend denial of the request of Mr. Charles Mussehl <br />for a Special Use Permit, to install a recreation room in the old <br />bank building, for the following: <br />1. Lack of suitable parking, either owned or public, <br />2. Condition of the building, <br />3. Opposition of local residents, and <br />4. Traffic problems. <br />VOTING FOR: Ehret, Peltier, Peloquin, Greger, Gillen, and McAllister <br />Motion Carried. <br />George Crockett - Jameson Cabins <br />Mr. Crockett was present with remodeling plans for his presnet resi- <br />dence. He had discussed the plan with Mr. Schwab, and he laid out <br />a proper, new sewer system. Mr. Crockett plans on extending his home <br />approximately 15' to the west, along the same foundation. This line <br />is less than 101 from the property line, and he will need a variance <br />for side yard setback. Greger felt that the adjoining property owners <br />should be notified of variance request. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, that the Planning <br />Commission recommend that the request for variance by George Crockett <br />be granted, due to insufficient side yard setback for an addition to <br />the existing building as per plans submitted with request. Let it <br />be noted that this action was taken without prior notification to <br />neighboring land owners, and that they be allowed to voice an opinion, <br />if any. Mr. Greger will personally notify affected land owners. <br />VOTING FOR: Ehret, Peliter, Peloquin, Gillen, and McAllister <br />ABSTAINED: Greger <br />Motion Carried. <br />
