Newly Revised, shall govern the <br />proceedings at meetings of this Commission. <br />ARTICLE VII ORDER CF 9USL ESS <br />Section 1. The items of business at regular meetings <br />shall include: <br />a. Roll call. <br />b. Consideration of minutes of previous meeting. <br />c. Communications and bills. <br />d. Reports of Officers and Committees. <br />e. Old business. <br />f. New business. <br />g. Adjournment. <br />Section 2. A motion from the floor must be made and <br />passed in order to dispense with any item on the agenda. <br />ARTICLE VIII HEA RINGS <br />Section 1. In addition to those required by law, the <br />Commission may hold public hearings when it decided <br />that such hearings will be in the public interest. <br />Section 2. Notice of the time and place of such <br />hearing, when on matters of widespread interest, shall <br />be published once in the City's official newspaper not <br />earlier than two weeks and not 1 -ter than ten days <br />prior to the hearing. For matters of limited territ- <br />orial interest, notice shall be given in such manner <br />as is deemed approprip to by the Commission. <br />Section 3. The Tatter before the Commission shall be <br />presented in summ^ry by a member of the Commission de- <br />signted by the Chairman and p-rties in interest shall <br />have the privilege of the floor. <br />Section 4. No record of st-tement shall be recorded <br />or sworn to as evidence for any Court of Law without <br />notice to the n?rties. <br />Section 5. A record shall be kept of those sreaking <br />before the Commission at such hearings. <br />ARTICLE IX AMENDMENTS <br />These by-laws may be amended by a majority vote of the <br />entire membership of the Planning Commission. <br />
