City Council meeting of March 21, 1994 Page 2 Leroux made motion, Brunotte seconded, that the City of Hugo has no objection to the issuance of a lawful Gambling License to the Church of St. John the Baptist, 14383 Forest Blvd No, to conduct bingo, raffles, and sell pull tabs on the grounds of the church on August 28, 1994. FINDINGS OF FACT (BERNTSON REZONING) The Council reviewed the Findings of Fact as prepared by the City Attorney, regarding Mr. Burdette Berntson's request to rezone approximately 29.2 acres located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Highway 61 and 120th St. At the last Council meeting action was taken to deny the rezoning, and staff recommends adoption of the Findings. Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, that the City adopt the Findings of Fact, as prepared by the City Attorney, regarding denial of the rezoning request of Burdette Berntson at the Council meeting of March 7, 1994. All ave. Motion Carried. VARIANCE REQUEST (FIRSTAR BANK) Firstar Hugo Banff: has requested a variance to the :lakeshore setback requirement, and maximum impervious surface requirement, of the City's code in order to construct additional parking spaces at 14431 Forest:. Blvd. The Board of Zoning Adjustments reviewed their request on February 22 1994, and recommended approval based on the commercial nature of the area and the action being taken by t:hr•_ bank to mediate the impact of t.hE•_ increased parking area on Egg Lake.
