Cite Council meek..ing of June b, I.` 94 <br />Page <br />ALLEGATIONS OF' M I SCONDUC ]" (FIRE DEPARTMENT " <br />Allegation=_ have been made regarding misconduct by a member of the Hugo <br />Volunteer Fire Department. These allegation=_ have been investigated by <br />the City Administrator, and it is his opinion that the allegations may <br />have some findings in fact. Staff recommended that the City Council <br />establish a date and time to conduct a disciplinary hearing for the <br />subject fire fiqhter. <br />Miron made motion, Lerou;; seconded, to schedule a disciplinary hearing for <br />June 27, 1994, at 7:30 PM, to review allegations of misconduct by a member <br />of the Huqo Volunteer Fire Dept. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Drunotte, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Stolt man <br />Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion. Miron seconded, authorizing the City Administrator to <br />hire an administrative law judge to hear evidence at the disciplinary <br />hearing of June 27, 1994, at a rate of $80.00 per hour. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCIES <br />Due to recent resignations, there are two vacancies on the City's Planning <br />Commission, with one term ending 12/31/95 and the other 12/31/96. <br />Advertisement of the vacancies was made, with one application submitted by <br />Sandy Malaski, 8+51 140th Street. Mrs. Malaski served as a chair for one <br />of the Comprehensive Flan subcommittees, and is recommended for the <br />position by Planning Commission Chairperson, Theodora Peltier. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, to appoint Sandy Malaski to the Hugo <br />Planning Commission, for a term to expire 12/31/96. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel, stated that he has reviewed the drainage plan <br />for Charles Lowell, relative to construction of a building in the Bald <br />Eagle Industrial Park, and it meets with his approval. <br />The City Administrator informed the Council of the dates that he will be <br />at National Guard camp and his scheduled vacation in July. <br />The City Attorney updated the Council on the status of the City's receipt, <br />by forfeiture, of a 1990 Harley Davidson motorcyle. <br />Councilman Leroux, suggested that the City establish a policy regarding <br />City participation in the infrastructure of commercial and industrial <br />development in order to clarify the City's objectives and level of <br />participation. <br />
