City Council meeting of ,lune 6.. 1.994 Page 6 FINDINGS OF FACT:___( WOODS OF BALD EAGLE REZONING) On May 16, 1.994, the City Council denied the application of Grace Development Corporation to rezone certain property located south of 130th Street in Section 31, from SFE to SFU. The City Attorney was directed to develop the written Findings of Fact Substantiating the Council's action. Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the Findings of Fact, as prepared by the City Attorney, substantiating Council action in denying the request. of Grace Development Corporation to rezone certain property located south of 130th Street in Section 31, from SFE to SFU. All aye. Motion Carried. 1994-1996 STREET MAINTENANCE CONTRACT The Council reviewed the Agreement between the City of Hugo and Washington County Public Works Department for maintenance of the City streets for the period July 1, 1994 to June .(), 1996. Washington County requested a two-year contract, in lieu of the annual Agreements previously entered into, as a method of reducing the time and effort involved in contract administration. The Agreement, as presented, represents no change to the Agreement currently in effect between Washington County and the City of Hugo. Labor rates are, as in the past, subject to the County's collectiv bargaining process. Staff recommended approval of the Agreement as presented. Leroux; made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the 1994-1996 Road Maintenance Agreement between the City of Hugo and Washington County Public Works, and authorize the Mayor to sign said Agreement on behalf of the City. All aye. Motion Carried. 1994 STREET GRAVELING PROJECT The Council reviewed an advertisement for bids for the City's annual road graveling project. Staff requested approval to advertise for bids to be received on July 8, 1994. Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, to advertise for bids for the annual road graveling project, to be received on July 8, 1994. All aye. Motion Carried. 1994 SEALCOAT PROJECT Based on prior Council action, the City of Hugo entered into an Agreement with Washington County and Allied Blacktop for the sealcoating of certain City streets. Based on the bid-price received from Allied Blacktop, this project is expected to cost the City $32,330, and the work will be performed on June 15, 1994, or shortly thereafter, depending on the weather. No action was required on this matter.
