MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 15, 1994 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Brunotte, Miron, Stoltzman (Leroux arrived at 7:10 PM.) <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Kevin Shoeberg <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the City <br />Council meeting of August 1,1994, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />special meeting of August 8, 1994, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />(COUNCILMAN LEROUX ARRIVED.) <br />Brunotte made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the claims for August 15, <br />1994, in the amount of $7.:.,747.94. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />BALD EAGLE AREA ASSOCIATION (PRESENTATION) <br />Mr. Ralph Hayne, President of the Bald Eagle Area Association, and <br />Lieutenant Ransfer from the DNR, addressed the City Council regarding a <br />proposed ordinance regulating ice fishing houses on Bald Eagle Lake, <br />needed because of the large amount of debris left on the lake after the <br />ice fishing season. There was a lengthy discussion on the issue, and <br />after another meeting on 8/1•_/94, the committee will be forwarding a <br />recommendation to the communities having jurisdiction on the lake. <br />COMPREHENSIVE SEWER PLAN (RESOLUTION) <br />The Council considered a resolution committing the City of Hugo to <br />preparing a sanitary sewer Comprehensive Plan for the City by May 1, <br />1995. The Comprehensive Sewer Plan was required to be submitted to the <br />Metro Council in 1988. Preparation of the Sewer Plan will be in <br />conjunction with the City's Comprehensive Plan review. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 94-16, A <br />RESOLUTION COMMITTING THE CITY OF HUGO TO SUBMIT A REVISED COMPREHENSIVE <br />MUNICIPAL PLAN TO THE METRO COUNCIL ON OR BEFORE MAY 1,'1995. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />BID REPORT (MOTORCYCLE SALE) <br />The City of Hugo received 15 bids for the Harley-Davidson motorcycle <br />recently acquired by the City through forfeiture action. The high bid was <br />made by Marl Braun of Lino Lakes, in the amount of $4,050. The lien of <br />$3•,304 against the vehicle will need to be paid off from the proceeds of <br />
