P`'L:SiR'T: Peloquin, Hanson, Lorch, McAllister and Peltier ?Houle arrived at 6:30 PM and Greger at 6:55 PM - Mr. Dale reviewed the questionnaire that was submitted to the residents of Hugo. He will prepare a summation of the responses for the next special meeting. Mr. Dale will be contacting the city attorney regarding the court's decision on the Rehbein matter. The Commission again reviewed the proposed development of the business district. Dale felt that it would be a good idea to relocate the fire department to the lot next to the b,%nk. The possibility of an overpass at the intersection of 8A and Highway 61 wras also discussed. Potion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to set a Special Meeting to meet with Carl Dale for December 12, 1979, at 6:00 PM. All aye, Motion Carried. The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Peltier at 8:16 PM. PRESENT: Peloquin, Hanson, Houle, Greger, Lorch, McAllister and Peltier Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to approve the minutes of October 24, 1979, after the following change has been made: Page 2 (Shubat and Prazich) item 1 of motion — Hugo does not need any additional Industrial. land. All aye. Motion Carried. JOHN NORTON — SPECIAL USE PERMIT Mr. Norton has made an application for a Special Use Permit to fill Lot 7, Block 1, R oyalhaven Estates, for a building site. A permit has been obtained from 'lice Creek. The DNR submitted a letter stating that because the fill and grading plan does not. involve working in the d of blic water, no DNR permit is required. I®ter contacted �' , and stated that he opposed the filling of the Clarke property and Mr. Norton's lot is even lower. Mr. Norton stated that he would not be able to comply with the request of Mr.. Kuusisto to provide 4:1 slopes. The slope will be 4:2. The fill would be required to set for one year, and Mr. Norton thought he might compact the fill as he goes along. Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Houle, that the Planning Commission forward the request of Mr. John Norton to fill Lot 7, Block 1, Royalhaven Estates on Sunset Lake to the City Council without recommendation. Let it be noted that the City Council reversed the Planning Commission's recommendation on a similar lot just recently.
