MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 10, 1979 <br />The Special Meeting to discuss the Comprehensive Plan with Carl Dale was called to <br />order by Chairperson Theodora Peltier at 6:15 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Peloquin, Hanson, Greger, Lorch and McAllister <br />ABSENT: Houle <br />Mr. Dale stated that there have been some policy changes directed by the Metro <br />Council. The Planning Commission might like to consider adopting an Incentive Zoning <br />plan. Peloquin stated that the city should stay with the type of zoning now en- <br />forced, and maybe consider the alternative in five years. The Commission will.further <br />discuss Incentive Zoning at the next Comprehensive Plan meeting with Carl Dale, and <br />make a decision at that time. This meeting was scheduled for November 14, 1979, at <br />6:00 PM. <br />Mr. Dale then discussed the proposed Commercial Business District plan along Egg <br />Lake Road. Howard Kuusisto stated that a road constructed along the sanitary sewer <br />easement would help prevent erosion. (HOULE ARRIVED AT 7:20 PM). A Site Plan was <br />presented to the Commission for their further review. Mr. Dale suggested that theā€¢ <br />Commission make an onsite inspection of the area for a better idea of what he has <br />proposed. <br />The regular meeting of the Hugo Planning Commission was called to order at 8:14 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Peloquin, Hanson, Greger, Houle, Lorch and McAllister <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of Septem- <br />ber 26, 1979, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RICHARD BRANDT - FARM SITE PLAN <br />Mr. Brandt owns 20 acres of land in the Conservancy zone. He would like to construct <br />a 40 x 60 ple barn to be used for his personal storage. Mr. McAllister felt that'a <br />Special Use Permit would be in order; Farm Site Plans were drawn up for the farmer. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Farm <br />Site Plan for Mr. Richard Brandt, 9950 152nd Street, to construct a 40 x 60 pole barn <br />to be used for personal storage. <br />All aye.
