Hugo Planning Commission <br />October 10, 1979 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />SAFEWAY HOUSE MOVERS - AMENDED SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Mr. Sempel would like to move in a 28 x 36 cold storage building on his property. <br />This would be the 4th building. The Commission numbered the buildings on the Site <br />Plan as follows: #1 - 28 x 40, #2 - 24 x 60, #3 - 32 x 72, and #4 - 28 x 36. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Hanson, to recommend approval of the Amended <br />Special Use Permit for Safeway House Movers, to move in or construct a wood building <br />not to exceed 28 x 36. Indicated on Site Plan as building #4. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Semple stated that at the beginning of the year 1980, he will submit a new Site <br />Plan showing all buildings and driveways. <br />DELMER STRANDBERG - DIVISION OF 40 ACRES (Discussion Only) <br />Mrs. Strandberg will be selling two 20 acre parcels in the Conservancy zone. She <br />stated that a silo presently located on the property might not meet the required <br />20' setback requirement for interior lot line. McAllister stated that the surveyor <br />shouldbAotified of the setback requirement and survey accordingly. The Strandbergs <br />are to contact the Building Inspector to determine the setback requirement for a <br />septic system. When these requirements are met, a certificate of survey can be sub- <br />mitted to the City Clerk for her signature on the deeds. <br />ROLAND HELEY - PURCHASE OF LAND ON 170TH STREET (Discussion Only) <br />Mr. Hely is going to be purchasing land on 170th Street (zoned Ag) and wanted to <br />know if his wife could have a beauty shop in their home. Mr. Heley was informed <br />that a Special Use Permit would be required. He also wanted the requirements for <br />construct ion of a 28 x 40 pole barn on his five acres. A Special Use Permit would- <br />be required. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by McAllister, to add Walter Stoltzman and Joe <br />Marier to the agenda for all purposes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WALTER STOLTZMAN - FARM SITE PLAN <br />Mr. Stoltzman owns 80 acres in the Agricultural zone, and would like to construct a <br />32 x 48 pole barn to be used for maintenance of his farming equipment and storage. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Hanson, to <br />Plan for Walter Stoltzman, to construct a 32 x <br />of farm equipment and personal storage. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />JOE MARIER - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />recommend approval of the Farm Site <br />48 pole barn to be used for repair <br />The Hugo Feed Mill is in need of an extra grain storage bin. The proposed building <br />would be 30' in diameter and 30' high. Mr. Marier's proposed Site Plan included two <br />possible locations, one just south of the present Feed Mill and the other located <br />by InterState Lumber. The site located south of the Feed Mill is in the CB district <br />and would not be allowed. An application for rezoning to the Industrial District <br />would be required. After much study, it was determined that the location by the <br />
