Hugo Planning Commission <br />May 9, 1979 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />Spitzer - cont. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Site Plan <br />for Dan Spitzer, to construct a 40 x 40 pole barn to be used for storage and livestock. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MID AMERICAN METAL CRAFT <br />Mr. Clemas and Mr. Larson, owners of Mid American Metal Craft, are interested in <br />purchasing the old Arlington Furniture store. The building is in the RB zone, and <br />does not allow for the light industrial performed in their business. The business <br />makes small parts for the computer business. All the work would be interior, with no <br />outside storage. The business presently employs 7 full-time and 3 part-time. They <br />do have a small amount of walk-in business. They extended an invitation to the Plan- <br />ning Commission to visit their place of business to see their operation. It <br />appears as this time that a rezoning would be in order. They will be on the agenda <br />for the City Council meeting of May 23, 1979, to discuss the matter again. <br />RALPH STRECKER - SITE PLAN <br />11r, Elmer Peterson, Strecker's brother-in-law, is going to purchase the property at <br />15435 Forest Blvd (rock shop). He would like to construct a 24 x 30 garage for personal <br />storage. The land is in the AG zone. The present attached garage will be made into <br />living quarters. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to place Mr. Peterson on the agenda <br />for other than discussion purposes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Site <br />Plan as submitted by Elmer E. Peterson, to construct a 24 x 30 garage for his own <br />personal use as allowed in the Zoning Ordinance. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to appoint Bill Greger as Vice Chairman <br />of the Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Greger requested that his name be withdrawn. <br />Motion made by Houle, seconded by Greger, to appoint Mike McAllister as Vice Chairman <br />of the Planning Commission. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, Greger, Houle, Hanson <br />ABSTAMD: McAllister <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />
