Hugo Planning Commission <br />March 28, 1979 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Let the record show that the Planning Commission considered the letters of Howard <br />Kuusisto and Dan Koehler in making their decision. <br />FOREST LAKE TOWNSHIP — COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />Let the record show that the Planning Commission has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan <br />as submitted by Forest Lake Township, and has no major objections. Simply see the <br />attached notes: <br />1 The of does not have a trails to din or near Co Swamp for reason <br />City Hugo Ys i"Y �P <br />of inadequate north/south traffic lanes within the city. <br />2. Hugo objects to any possible mass—transit system bypassing Hugo. <br />3. The population projection, as printed in the plan for Hugo, would appear to be <br />Incorrect,, <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, authorizing the Planning Commission <br />Chairman to appoint Mike McAllister to contact Carl Dale to check on the progress <br />made to date on the upgrading of Hugo's Comprehensive Plan, <br />DARRELL TAVERNIER <br />Tom Crever has received an application from Darrell Tavernier for the construction of <br />a building on his property on the north side of Bald Eagle Lake to be used for <br />rental of boats and storage. The Ordinance states that an owner has two years in <br />which to have a destroyed building reconstructed (320-59 Subd. A4). Mr. Crever <br />indicated that the fire occurred on April 15, 1977. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, that it is the opinion of the <br />Planning Commission that any intensification of the use would not be allowed. The <br />Building Inspector is instructed to not issue any permit without having complete <br />information submitted to the Planning Commission for their review. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, Gillen, McAllister and Ehret <br />ABSTAINED: Gkoger <br />Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, recommending that Larry Ehret be <br />provided with copies of the City Council and Planning Commission minutes for a period <br />of one year. Mr. Ehret to remain in an advisory capacity. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, Gillen, Greg+er, Md --McAllister <br />ABSTAINED: Ehret <br />Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Greger recommending the appointment of Theodora Peltier as permanent <br />Chairperson for the Planning Commission. <br />Motion failed for lack of second. <br />Let the minutes show that the Planning Commission would like to operate with a full <br />board before a recommendation is made for a permanent Chairman. <br />
