City Council meeting of January 19, 1993 <br />Page _ <br />PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE CITY ATTORNEY SERVICES <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, that. the City Council interview <br />Gregory Hellings, Greggory Woods, and Gregory Galler for consideration to <br />provide the City of Hugo with municipal legal services. <br />VOTING AYE: Brunotte, Leroux;, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Barnes and Stolt man <br />Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Stolt man seconded, that interviews of the three <br />candidates by conducted at a special meeting, in front of the fell <br />Council, at a date and time to be coordinated by the City Administrator. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />1993 AGREEMENT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES <br />The City of Hugo contracts with the Washington County Sheriff's Department <br />for certain law enforcement services. The City received a proposed <br />contract from Washington County to provide these services for 1993, at a <br />total cost of $ ;:1.0,445.07, the amount expected by the City in its budget. <br />The Council had questions regarding the proposed contract, and the <br />following motion was made: <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to table this matter until the meeting_ <br />of March 1, 1993, or sooner if decided by the City Administrator. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />199.3 EMPLOYEE WAGES <br />On January 4th, the Council received from the City Administrator <br />recommended wages and salaries for City employees during 1993 and 1994. <br />Stolt man made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOL.-UTIOIV 1993-1, <br />RESOLUTION SETTING 1993 AND 1994 SALARIES FOR REGULAR AND FART --TIME <br />EMPLOYEES. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Lerou;;, Stolt man <br />VOTING NAY: Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Stolt man made motion, Leroux; seconded, that the Planninq Commission take <br />the responsibility for initiatinq committees to identify comprehensive <br />plan issues, and that the Council participate in this process as <br />"individuals" rather than as a City Council. <br />
