PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman City Administrator, Bob Museus City Attorney, Greg (caller City Clerk:, Mary Ann Creager Leroux made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular Council meeting of March 15 1993, as amended. All aye. Motion Carried. Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the special Council meeting of March 8, 1993, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the claims for March 15, 1993, in the amount of $19,764.19. All aye. Motion Carried. REPRESENTATIVE DOUG SWENSON Mr. Swenson addressed the Council thanking them for the opportunity to hold his Town Meeting at Hugo City Hall. B I LOT'TA SPECIAL USE PERM'1' "f The City received a letter from Robert B. Bilotta regarding the special use permit granted for his operation of a greenhouse and retail sales of produce at 6919 132nd St. No. Mr. Bilotta requested that the City Council reconsider condition #1 on the special use permit which states, ""this permit shall expire with any subdivision or change of ownership of the property." Mr. Bilotta is concerned with the protection of his investment in this property, and would like to reserve the option to transfer ownership of the operation, intact, to another- party. He has no objection, to maintaining the condition that the special use permit expire with any subdivision of the property. Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to change the SUP for Robert Bilotta, by deleting the words "or change of ownership" from Condition #1, and dating the reference to the Site Plan in the SUP. All aye. Motion Carried. BUILDINCa INSPECTION INTERN The City of Hugo advertised with local technical/vocational schools for a building intern to assist in the building inspection department. Applicants were interviewed by John Denson, City building official,, and Gene Saboy, building official from White Gear Lake. Lased on the review of their resumes, academic performance, and these interviews, it is recommended that Timothy John Saari be hired as the building inspection intern for a six-month period, to begin on April 5, 1993 .
