Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />special Council meeting of March 8, 1993, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the claims for March 15, <br />1993, in the amount of $19,764.19. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />REPRESENTATIVE DOUG SWENSON <br />Mr. Swenson addressed the Council thanking them for the opportunity to <br />hold his Town Meeting at Hugo City Hall. <br />B I LOT'TA SPECIAL USE PERM'1' "f <br />The City received a letter from Robert B. Bilotta regarding the special <br />use permit granted for his operation of a greenhouse and retail sales of <br />produce at 6919 132nd St. No. Mr. Bilotta requested that the City Council <br />reconsider condition #1 on the special use permit which states, ""this <br />permit shall expire with any subdivision or change of ownership of the <br />property." Mr. Bilotta is concerned with the protection of his investment <br />in this property, and would like to reserve the option to transfer <br />ownership of the operation, intact, to another- party. He has no objection, <br />to maintaining the condition that the special use permit expire with any <br />subdivision of the property. <br />Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to change the SUP for Robert Bilotta, <br />by deleting the words "or change of ownership" from Condition #1, and <br />dating the reference to the Site Plan in the SUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />BUILDINCa INSPECTION INTERN <br />The City of Hugo advertised with local technical/vocational schools for a <br />building intern to assist in the building inspection department. <br />Applicants were interviewed by John Denson, City building official,, and <br />Gene Saboy, building official from White Gear Lake. Lased on the review <br />of their resumes, academic performance, and these interviews, it is <br />recommended that Timothy John Saari be hired as the building inspection <br />intern for a six-month period, to begin on April 5, 1993 . <br />
