City Council meeting of March 15, 1993 Page _ Debra Barnes asked that. the City Administrator consider further installation of a bike path connection to Rice Lake Park:, and research assessment policies of adjacent communities regarding sidewalks. MISCELLANEOUS The Council was informed of a Local Board of Review training session to be held at Washinqton County on March 18, 1993. Hugo's Board of Review will. be held on Monday, April 12, 1993.. between 9:C>(-') AM and 1.1:00 AM. The City received a request from Stanford M*:rueger requestinq that his $1,00(--) refund, as conditioned in his SUP, be returned to him. It was the opinion of the City Attorney, Greg Galler, that the deposit should be refunded based on the following reasoning: 1. Money was deposited to cover the cost of building removal if home construction is not started. It is apparent that the City has no intention to have the building removed now. 2. The City did not follow through on threatened litigation. It was Mr. Caller's opinion that the $1,000 should be refunded to the Kruegers upon their showing proof that the property has been sold. Miran made motion, Barnes seconded, that the City of Hugo reimburse Stanford and Sandra Krueger their $1,000 deposit upon submission of proof that the property has been sold. All aye. Motion Carried. SELL PUBLISHING VS. HUGO CITY COUNCIL Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, that the City Attorney review and prepare Findings of Fact regarding reimbursement of Council expenses incurred during litigation of Sell Publishing vs HLAgo City Council.
