4 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />January 24, 1979 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ehret at 8:04 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Peltier, Greger, McAllister, and Ehret <br />Dan Koehler was also present. <br />ABSENT: Gillen (called and stated that he had another meeting to attend) <br />Motion made by Pel-Lier, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of <br />January 10, 1979, after the following changes are made: <br />Page <br />2 <br />(5th paragraph) — He asked Sausen if Weber's have any litigation <br />pending against Dabe at this time <br />Page <br />2 <br />(Tschida) <br />— The sale is contingent on the availability of <br />building sites for 3 houses. <br />Page <br />3 <br />(Rehbein) <br />— so the farming operation <br />Mr. Rehbein could sell both houses <br />Page <br />3 <br />(Iverson) <br />— a title opinion stating that John Iverson <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RICHARD GENRICH — SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Genrich is acting as agent for the estate of William Schletty, and <br />is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 40' x 60' pole barn <br />to be used to operate, maintain, and store split wood supply. The <br />building would be constructed on the 105 acre parcel. The operation <br />would employ two part—time employees, and a log splitter, packager, and <br />electric chain saw would be used to package wood. It was the general <br />concensus that this type of use of the property would be acceptable. <br />It was determined that this type of operation could be allowed per <br />Chapter 320-4 (Subdivision C — 3b). Peloquin stated that he would like <br />to see more details on a site plan, and also felt that a public hearing <br />should be held. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Ehret, to schedule a public hearing <br />for February 14, 1979, at 7:30 PM, to consider the request of Richard <br />Genrich to construct a 40' x 60' pole barn to be used in the operation, <br />maintenance, and storage of a split wood supply. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />The following items will be addressed at the public hearing: <br />1. Location of the well and sanitary facilities <br />2. Location of office <br />3. Gas line running through the property <br />4. Driveway surface <br />5. Detailed site plan indicating location of the pert test <br />6. Noise level dba at adjoining property line <br />7. 'Waste disposal of wood chips <br />8. Limit to wholesale operation <br />9. Easement from Goodview Avenue <br />10. Operation hours <br />
