JULY 19, 1993 <br />The regular meeting of the Hugo City Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Stoltzman at 7:00PM' <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />Motion made by Barnes, seconded by Brunotte to approve the minutes of July <br />6, 1993 as amended. <br />Allaye, motion passed' <br />Mr. Brunotte noted that the Stoltzman SUP and River City Asphalt permit <br />should have been included on the agenda' <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Brunotte to approve the claims of July <br />19, 1993 in the amount of $192,999'85' <br />All aye, motion passed' <br />Council questioned exactly what the Municipal Builders, Inc. $9,333'00 <br />check was in payment of. <br />NSP Franchise Aoreement <br />Mr. Dave Schwartz was present to address questions from the Council. The <br />Council wanted to include in the agreement a requirement of notification <br />to homeowners before tree trimming. Mr. Schwartz informed the Council <br />this would not be approved by the NSP legal staff. <br />Motion made by Stoltzman, seconded by Leroux to approve the Northern <br />States Power Franchise Agreement for electric service. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Motion made by Stoltzman, seconded by Leroux to approve the Northern <br />States Power Franchise agreement for gas service. <br />All aye, motion passed' <br />It was not clear whethe- a public hearing for these franchise agreements <br />had been scheduIed. <br />Mits iop. ti <br />Council members Questv�,'`�o what +ire fighcars par`icLoa'eu in we mission <br />statement preparation jo one from the fire deparLment was present to <br />address the question' <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Stoltzman to table the mission statement <br />discussion until the August 2, City Council meeting and request that a <br />representative from the fire department be present. <br />Allaye, motion passed <br />
