City Council meeting of October 4, 1993 Page 4 Miron made motion. Stoltzman seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 93-14, RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 129TH STREET AS A "NO PARKING" ZONE. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman Motion Carried. IN -PROGRESS REVIEW (1993 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT_Sj Ken Weber, representing the City Engineer, reported on the current status of the 1993 water system improvements. SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING During the Council workshop held on 9/25/93, the Council determined to conduct a workshop with the Planning Commission on October 27, 1993 for the purpose of improving the decision-making processes of the City. Staff recommended that the Council establish a special meeting of the City Council for October 27, 1993. Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to schedule a special Council meeting, in joint session with the Planning Commission, for October 27, 1997., at 7:30 PM . All aye. Motion Carried. The City Engineer will be reporting on the Surface Water Management Program some time in November, 1993. JOINT MEETING WITH LINO LAMES The City Administrator has schedule a joint dinner meeting with Lino Lakes for October 14, 1993, at a place to be determined. Tonight's meeting is to be recessed until October 14, 1993, with the meeting place to be publicized when determined. STOLTZMAN SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT Councilman Miron suggested that the Stoltzman Agreement "sunset clause" should state a specific number of years that the business can continue to operate, as long as the property remains in the Stoltzman name. Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, that the City Attorney include in the Stoltzman Settlement Agreement language limiting Walter L. Stoltzman's business to 30 years, as long as the property remains in the Stoltzman name. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron ABSTAINED: Stoltzman Motion Carried.
