Applicant alleges that body shop has been in <br />continuous operation thus subject to continuation as a valid non—conform <br />ing use. Attorney not certain as to facts at this time, but if Planning <br />Commission determines that it has, it would appear that there would be a <br />valid non—conforming use to the level that has been established. The <br />use could not be intensified without conforming to the zoning ordinance. <br />Spitzer asked for a sense of the Planning Commission to determine <br />whether they should formulate and recommend an amendment to the ordinance <br />or should recommend that Burdick should make application for a rezoning. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Rosenquist that the Planning <br />Commiscion recommend to the City Council that they amend the ordinance. <br />Voting for: Spitzer, Rosenquist and Peltier. Peloquin voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br />Motion made by Rosenquist, seconded by Peltier, to amend Chapter 320 <br />of the Hugo City Code entitled Zoning in Sec. 320-4, Subdivision K. reg— <br />ulations for Concentrated Business District, Sub—paragraph 3, titled <br />40pecial Uses", add Retail Motor Vehicle Sales and Service. <br />Voting for: Spitzer, Rosenquist and Peltier. Peloquin abstained. <br />P•lotion carried. <br />Secretary directed to publish the notice of public hearing on the <br />proposed amendment to the ordinance for 7:00 P.M. on June 9, 1976. <br />Peltier made motion, seconded by Rosenquist to accept application <br />of Dennis Burdick, 14529 Forest Boulevard, for a Special Use Permit to <br />to operate a retail motor vehicle sales and service, contingent on the <br />approval of the ordinance amendment and set a public hearing for 8:00 P.M. <br />on June 9, 1976. <br />Voting fcr: Spitzer, Rosenquist, Peloquin and Peltier. Motion carried. <br />Art Glamos Re: Peloquin Industrial Park <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin to put Meir. Glamos on the <br />agenda. All aye. Motion carried. <br />Discussion regarding four acre parcel Mr. Glamos may purchase in <br />Peloquin Industrial Park and status of road in that area. 11Ir. Glamos <br />manufactures custom wire products. <br />
