.. <br />PINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MAY 269 1976 <br />PUBLIC HEARING - L4MCTTE <br />The public hearing regarding a petition for a temporary mobile <br />home ppermit, requested by Mr. and Mrs. William F. LaMotte, was opened <br />at 7:40 P.M. Present were Spitzer, Ehret, Peloquin and Peltier. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Ehret to dispense with the <br />reading of the official notice of publication, since there is no busi- <br />ness before the chair since the request has been withdrawn by the appli- <br />cant. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Peloquin, to adjourn the hearing <br />at 7:43 P.M. All voted aye. Motion cprried. <br />MEETING <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Spitzer at 8:03P.M. <br />Present were Spitzer, Peloquin, Ehret and Peltier. Absent were Rosen- <br />quist and Johnson. <br />Votion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the min- <br />utes of the May 20, 1976 meeting after changing ah to an on the second <br />to the last line on page two, and on the second line regarding Vernon <br />DeZiel - Land Division on page one, change west side to southeast side <br />of Oneka Lake. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />MINING PERMIT - BARTON <br />Spitzer read letter from Barton; they are still looking for buyer <br />for all or most of existing stockpile - no further production is anti- <br />cipated - haul routes cannot be determined until customer is obtained <br />will try to route trucks on approved route; would appreciate a means <br />for a quick approval of alternate routes if they are required - restor- <br />ation will be accomplished as per agreement with Mr. Goiffon when stock- <br />pile has been removed. <br />Spitzer read portion of letter from City Engineer stptind that the <br />the area has been inspected - site in general has several 1-�rge areas <br />of erosion with steep banked gullies. according to previous inspection, <br />reference has been made to the slopes and at this inspection, the low <br />area south of stockpile is ponding water. According to February 4, 1975 <br />letter, 147th Street westerly to Homestead Avenue, south to County 8A <br />would be the haul route. Any other haul route would be only by per- <br />mission of the Council. <br />Spitzer read the conditions that were attached to Mining Permit #6, <br />dated September 18, 1975; noted that Barton is not asking for anything <br />additional; City Engineer says the restoration is not complete. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to recommend to the <br />City Council that the tuning Permit #6, dated September 18, 1976, issued. <br />to Barton Contracting Company of Osseo, Minnesota, be renewed iinta t, <br />until June 30, 1977 provided that the necessary bond and cert ifica�e of <br />
