MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 19, 1992 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Bob Museus <br />City Clerk:, Mary Ann Creager <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular <br />meeting of October 4, 1992, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the claims for October <br />19, 1992, in the amount of $87,510.02. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ORDINANCE CHANGE (RESIDENTIAL GARAGES) <br />A public hearing was held to consider amending the City Code by adopting <br />an ordinance which would permit larger garages to be constructed on <br />residential property in the City of Hugo. The Hugo Planning Commission <br />recommended adoption of this ordinance on 7/22/92. The public hearing was <br />opened, and there were no written or oral comments. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 92-278, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 32i_r OF THE HUGO'S MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED <br />"ZONING", AS IT RELATES TO PERMITTED SIZES OF PRIVATE GARAGES. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />CITE PLAN APPROVAL ( JDS :. CO""M'!N ; <br />JDS Communications has applied for site plan approval for their business <br />located at 17385 Forest Blvd. No. JDS has already occupied the site, and <br />the site plan approval is based on their current operation. Staff has <br />reviewed the site plan, and inspected the site with JDS, and recommends <br />approval of the site plan, as presented. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the site plan for jDS <br />Communications, 17395 Forest Blvd. North, tC1 use the existing bUildil.g as <br />a full-time office, winter storage for vehicles and machinery, and use as <br />needed to operate our utility contracting business. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LEMAY HOME <br />Thomas and Sharon LeMay have requested site plan approval to construct a <br />new home on their property located at 9296 1'(:)th Street North. Mr. and <br />Mrs. LeMay wish to live in the existing house on the property until the <br />new home is completed. Mr. LeMay appeared before the Council, and stated <br />
