He estimated he would take approximately five years to complete construction of the new house. Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, to grant permission to maintain the existing residence while the new residence is being constructed. Before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued for the new residence, a financial guarantee, in the amount of $3,000, shall be submitted to the City to insure removal of the old residence. After issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy, Mr. LeMay will have 90 days in which to have the old residence removed from the site. All aye. Motion Carried. AUDIT PROPOSALS FOR 1992„ 19937 AND 1994 The City has received proposals from four auditing firms to conduct audits of the City's general-purpose financial statements for the years 1992, 1993, and 1994. Upon review of the proposals submitted, the City's Finance Director has recommended that the City accept the services of Boyum & Barenscheer of Minneapolis, being the lowest average annual cost for the three-year engagement. Review of the firm's credentials and current clients indicate that they are a responsible auditing firm. Average annual cost for the three-year auditing contract would be $6,767. Leroux made motion, Brunotte seconded, that the City of Hugo engage with Boyum and Barenscheer to conduct the City's audit for 1992, 1993, and 1994. All aye. Motion Carried. ESTIMATE :44. Barnes made motion, Stoltzman seconded, authorizing payment of $42,408.64 to Valley Pi,ving as partial payment for the Henna Avenue P.I. All a; -e. Motion Carried. BALLFIELD FENCE ESTIMATES Cencerns were raised this summer about the lack of an outfield fence for the City softball field located immediately north of City Hall. Concerns raised have been: 1. Softballs from the field landing on private property across Fitzgerald Avenue. 2. Potential for ballplayers to inadvertently run into Fitzgerald Avenue without notice.
