Chairman Spitzer <br />stated that the words "liquor and food" be removed from the applica- <br />tion for Special Use Permit. <br />Gillen - Would like to know the total yardage of dirt to be :roved, <br />would like to see the contours of the entire area, and <br />wants to know about the balance of the dirt. <br />Goulette - There will be a minimum amount of dirt to be moved. Es- <br />timated a minimum of six trees that would have to be removed. <br />Ehret - Where would the drainage go? <br />Goulette - Would build a holding pond (25 million gallons). There are <br />two wells on the property one being 550' deep and the other <br />525' deep, with a capacity of 425 gallons a minute. The <br />land will be purchased from Golf Estates (Furlong). <br />Peloquin - Have you had any opposition from the new home owners in <br />the immediate area? <br />Goulette - Has heard nothing, and stated that the value of homes in <br />area are usually increased in value. <br />Spitzer - What do you estimate the average number of people who would <br />be playing golf at the peak of the season? <br />Goulette - Approximately 200. There would be approximately 150-175 <br />cars using the road on weekends. <br />Rosenquist - Do you plan on year around operation in regards to the <br />food and liquor? <br />Goulette - Maybe in the case of keeping it opened for cross country <br />skiing. <br />Peltier - Is golf course going to be a corporation? <br />Goulette - Yes. My brother-aAd I. <br />Mr. Goulette was advised to provide a rather detailed sketch plan, <br />and a statement as to: 1 -removal of forestation, 2 -contour of land, <br />3 -statement of the average occupancy, 4 -hours of operation, 5-perc <br />test and soil borings where the clubhouse will stand, and 6 -drainage <br />capacity. <br />Ehret made motion, seconded by Peltier, to adjourn the meeting at <br />10:03 P.M. <br />Mary Yn Creager <br />Planning Commission Secretary <br />
