MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />O THE HUGO PL: hTNING COPCTISSION - NOVETfBER 24, 1976 <br />Public Hearing - Little Lamb's Preschool (Special Use -'ermit) <br />The public hearing was called to order by Chairman Spitzer at 7:08 P.M. <br />Attending were Spitzer, Ehret, Peltier, Rosenquist, and Greger. Peloquin <br />arrived at 7:18 P.:.'. , and Gillen arrived at 8:04 P.M. <br />Chairman Spitzer read the official notice of the public hearing. A <br />revised playground plan was presented to the commission. The Fire <br />Chief has not as yet received information from the state in regards <br />to the code. Tom Crever, Building Inspector, submitted a written <br />report which was read aloud by Chairman Spitzer. He stated that th-e <br />facility does meet State 3uilding code requirements for a "Group C <br />Division 3 Day Care Facility. However., an approved fire alarm shall <br />have to provided if the occupant load exceeds 29 persons. Crever was <br />contacted, and he stated words were vertabim to State Building Code. <br />Vrs. June Smith felt the code read that you could have 29 children, <br />and any number of teachers and volunteers. <br />^rnest Hem el, 8024 147th Street, ruco - church member stated he was <br />in favor of. preschool. <br />Spitzer stated that Special Use Permit read not more than 30 children <br />at any one time. Mrs. Smith stated that there was usually one child <br />absent every stay. <br />Mr. aim Olson, Hugo Fire Chief, was present to hear as to how Little <br />Lamb's Preschool will comply with state fire code. Mr. Olson will <br />check state code to make sure fire codes are met. His report to be <br />made prior to the City Council meeting of December 6, 1976. <br />!-cori--E closed at 7:26) PT . <br />ublic gearing - George Jungblut (Subdivision) <br />Ch.airmar Spitzer read the official notice of the public hearing. Letter <br />from adjoining property owner (Mr. & 14rs. Gallon) was read, recordi::� ; <br />them as in favor of subdivision. The report of City Engineer, Howard <br />Kuusisto, was read aloud. <br />Greger - Outlot C - After developing, what are you going to do for <br />access? <br />Jungblut - LeaVe in natural state. <br />Rosenquist - du not agree with opening Outlot C. Would like to make <br />walking access. Do not want boat access there. <br />'hret - I agree with Mr. Rosenquist.
