Planning COIIlriliSsion <br />November 24, 1976 <br />Page 2 <br />4"eetina <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:58 P.M. by Chairman Spitzer. <br />Present were: Spitzer, Rhret, Peltier, Peloquin, Rosenquist, and Greger. <br />Absent: Gillen <br />Addition to minutes of meeting; of November 10, 1976 — The fact that <br />r."r. Gillen had spoken to Mr. Perez, and Mr. Perez stated that land <br />south of the gun club was not suitable for home sites. T•1r. Gillen <br />asked r'r. Perron what the club proposed to to. Mr. Perron stated he <br />did not think matter was relavent at the time. Spitzer suggested <br />language be recorded on page 1 after the sentence "Mr. Perron stated <br />that the club would conform to the results of a study being conducted by <br />Air. Perez." <br />Peltier — approval of minutes of (page 1) should read October 27, 1976. <br />Ehret — name should be added to members present. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, to approve the minutes <br />of November 10, 1976 meeting, after the above corrections are made. <br />Peltier — minutes on rezoning of Francis Peltier (September 22, 1976) <br />pa -0e 9 should read that portion of 20 acres (lying north of 130th Street) <br />be granted. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Ehret, that correction be made <br />to the minutes of the September 22, 1976, meeting. <br />Little Lamb's Preschool <br />1'hret — Concerned with clarification of the 29 children. <br />June Smith — would go with 26 children and 3 teachers. <br />Spitzer — In either event, commission would have to go along with <br />:3uilding Inspector's interpretation. <br />Spitzer — I think we should recommend approval of the Special Use Permit <br />provided maximum number of children at any time will not exceed <br />26 students and 3 instructors unless state building codes do in <br />fact permit greater attendance without the installation of an <br />approved fire alarm. Also, approval be contingent upon approval of <br />fire chief and his assessment of fire codes. <br />T-otion made by Ehret, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of <br />the Special Use Permit for Little Lamb's Preschool subject to the <br />following: 1. Maximum number of children at any time will not exceed <br />26 students and 3 instructors unless state bulding codes <br />do in fact permit greater attendance without the in - <br />0. <br />stallation of an approved fire alarm. <br />2. Contingent upon approval of fire chief and his assessment <br />of fire codes are met. <br />VOTING FOR: Spitzer, 'Ehret, Peltier, Peloq-ain, Rosenquist, Greger, <br />and Gillen. <br />Motion Carried. <br />
