Planning Commission <br />November 24, 1976 <br />Page 3 <br />George Jungblut — Subdivision <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, to recommend approval <br />of the preliminary plat to the City Council subject to the following: <br />1. That Outlots C and J shall be left in unimproved state until Outlots <br />H and I are developed, at which time Outlot J shall be improved <br />L. appropriate road standards, and Outlot C shall be so improved <br />as to provide only walking access to the lake. <br />2. Surface drainage direction and structures should be shown. <br />3. Building set—back lines should be indicated. <br />4. A drainage section will be necessary between the proposed block 1 <br />and 2 and Outlots H and I. It is suggested that a neighborhood <br />plan would be developed. This plan should show building locations, <br />surface drainage ways, and direction of flow on the plat and <br />Ethan Avenue. <br />Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Rosenquist, to attempt to further <br />stipulate that park land dedication should be appropriate amount of <br />money based on market value which assessed amount shall be determined <br />prior to the approval. of the final plat. <br />Motion made by Gillen, seconded by Ehret, to amend the motion by in— <br />serting the words, drain fields, to Item 4. <br />VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Ehret, Peltier, Rosenquist, and Gillen <br />AGAINST: Peloquin <br />rBSTAINED: Greger <br />Motion Carried <br />Voting on motion with addition of the words, drain fields, to Item 4. <br />VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Ehret, Peltier, Rosenquist, Greger, and Gillen <br />ABSTAINED: Peloquin <br />Motion Carried <br />Ron Baker — Purchase of Lakeview Inn (Special Use Permit <br />Mir. Baker would like to purchase the Lakeview Inn on 3ald Eagle Lake. <br />Business at one time consisted of a tavern and boat rental. He would <br />like to know if it was grandfather in, and if he could repair motors. <br />Spitzer stated that if business was grandfathered in, business may not <br />be intensified. Mr. Baker would like to tear down most of the buildings, <br />leaving main building and add onto the back. Mr. Baker plans to operate <br />
