Planning Commission <br /> December 8, 1976 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Ron <br /> _________ <br /> SERVICES: We will attempt to supply any and all service requested <br /> by local boaters including boat removal, boat and motor <br /> maintenance, dock or lift maintenance. We intend to con- <br /> struct part of dock network with intention of renting <br /> by the season. Yes vote. <br /> ADVERTISING: Will focus newspaper ads in small local newspapers and <br /> aim business to take care of ithite Bear Lake and Bald <br /> Eagle Lake boaters. No vote. <br /> GROUNDS: After major clean-up, will place tables and chairs under <br /> tree and along front and side of tavern building for those <br /> who wish to partake of consessions outside. Yes vote. <br /> Motion made by Rosenquist, seconded by Peltier, advising Mr. Baker <br /> that the operation would be considered illegal intensification if he <br /> exercises the repair of boats and snowmobiles and sale of boat equip- <br /> ment. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Ehret, Peltier, Peloquin, Rosenquist, Greger, <br /> and Gillen <br /> Motion Carried <br /> . ..., • . <br /> Reconvened 9:57 <br /> William Stankey 7 Green house <br /> Mr. Stankey would like to construct a greenhouse and a watchman's <br /> quarters on property on Forest Blvd. Property is zoned RB. Floral <br /> operation is permitted use in that zone. The zone would also permit <br /> a multiple dwelling, but would not permit a single residence. <br /> Spitzer stated that the city encourages permanent residences <br /> Richard Johnson -.Easement <br /> Kr. Johnson and his son-in-law arerthe process of purchasing 20 acres <br /> of Jeffrey Avenue. They would like to put a 16 ' easement along nor- <br /> thern edge of the property so that the back 20 acres (zoned Conservancy) <br /> would not be landlocked. Mr. Johnson questioned whether the 16' <br /> easement would delete from the 10 acres necessary to build on. <br /> Spitzer stated that if the road ever had to. be opened, there would pro- <br /> bably be .a question as to whether it wouldide enough. He suggested <br /> that the easement go up the center, giving 16P on both sides then <br /> parcels would be equal. Mr. Spitzer stated that Mr. Johnson would also <br /> have to apply for a land division to be approved by the City Council. <br /> Mr. Johnson stated he will review the center line easement, and get on <br /> the agenda for another Planning Commission meeting. <br /> Tim Geck KC Plaza • <br /> Mr. Geck is interested in purchasing the KC Plaza with the intention <br /> of making it into a 4 plex. Property now zoned SFE. Building di- <br /> mensions are 40' x 48' (main floor) and has three floors. A duplex <br /> would be considered as a permitted use, but could/be stretched to 4 plex. <br />
