i r <br /> MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> MAY 14, 1975 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 8:04 P.M. by Chairman Spitzer. <br /> Members present were : Spitzer, Johnson, Ehret, Peloquin and <br /> Peltier. Also present were Bill Schwab, Washington County <br /> Planner; and Irene Leroux, City Council member. <br /> Minutes, as mailed, Tschida and Juran should be corrected. Johnson <br /> moved and Ehret seconded that minutes be accepted as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Ken Tschida called and will not be in tonight . <br /> INDYKIEWICZ - MINING PERMIT <br /> Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Peloquin, that the mining permit <br /> renewal be granted with the original conditions. Members for: <br /> Peloquin, Spitzer, Johnson, Ehret, and Peltier. Motion carried. <br /> DAY CARE CENTER <br /> Ehret moved that the Planning Commission recommends to the City <br /> Council that they do not adopt Ordinance Number 123 in that it is <br /> inconsistant with the life style of the residents of the City of <br /> Hugo as contemplated by the Comprehensive Plan. Peloquin seconded. <br /> Members for: Peloquin, Spitzer, Johnson, and Ehret. Peltier no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> USED CAR LOT - REZONING <br /> Peloquin moves that it be recommended to the City Council that <br /> consideration be given to amend zoning ordinance to permit motor <br /> vehicle sales in Retail Business and Concentrated Business Dis- <br /> trict by Special Use Permit only and that if the Council is <br /> favorably inclined, an appropriate ordinance be drafted and returned <br /> to the Planning Commission for purpose of holding public hearing. <br /> Johnson seconds. Members for: Peloquin, Johnson., Ehret, and Peltier. <br /> Spitzer - No. Motion carried. <br /> WHITE BEAR ROD AND GUN CLUB <br /> White Bear Rod and Gun Club's review of Special Use Permit be <br /> tabled until first meeting in June. Secretary should write a <br /> letter to Mr. Perron to appear at that meeting. Secretary should <br /> request reports from Planning Consultant, Building Inspector and <br /> City Engineer to be presented prior to June 11; in addition a sub- <br /> committee to be composed of Mr. Peloquin - Chairman, Mr. Ehret, <br /> and Mr. Leroux will visit the sight and report. Secretary to con- <br /> tact Mr. Perron to call Peloquin to make an appointment to rreet <br /> them on the sight for inspection. <br />
