Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for May 16, 2016 <br />Page 4 of 8 <br />Approve the Stormwater Reuse Agreement for Clearwater Cove <br />As part of the Clearwater Cove development, the developer was installing a stormwater reuse <br />system to irrigate the residential lots, public park, and landscaping along Oneka Parkway. They <br />will also using the reuse system to meet the required infiltration requirements for the <br />development. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the stormwater reuse agreement for the <br />Clearwater Cove Development. <br />Approve Resolution Cancelling Tax Increment Development Agreement with Schwieters <br />Properties, LLP <br />The City had received a request from Schwieters Properties to cancel the tax increment financing <br />development agreement for Lot 2, Block 1, Schwieters Millwork Subdivision (13 825 Fenway <br />Boulevard). This agreement required them to build a 45,000 sq. ft. building on the property and <br />agree to a 15 -year minimum assessed value in exchange for purchasing the property from the <br />City for no money down. To the best of the City's knowledge, they have performed all of the <br />requirements contained in the development agreement and have repaid the business subsidy <br />granted by the City. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2016-11 <br />CANCELLING TIF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT. <br />Approval of Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Deyo Benefit on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at <br />the American Legion <br />The Hugo American Legion Auxiliary Post 620 had requested a lawful gambling exempt permit <br />to conduct raffles during the benefit for Angela Deyo on July 17, 2016 at the Hugo Legion. <br />Angela was diagnosed with cancer in March 2015, and a benefit is being held to raise money to <br />assist in paying medical bills. Angela lives in Lino Lakes with her husband and three kids. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the lawful gambling exempt permit for the Deyo <br />benefit on July 17, 2016. <br />Vacation of Drainage and Utilitv Easement — Clearwater Cove Outlot G <br />D.R. Horton requested a vacation of the existing drainage and utility easement located over <br />Outlot G, Clearwater Cove. Planner Rachel Juba explained where the property was located, <br />stating the outlot will be used for the development of Clearwater Cove 2nd Addition. New <br />drainage and utility easements will be placed on the lots at the time the final plat is recorded. She <br />stated that staff is comfortable with the applicant's requests to vacate the drainage and utility <br />easements. <br />Mayor Weidt opened the public hearing. After hearing no comments, he closed the public <br />hearing. <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the notice to vacate the drainage and utility <br />easement located over Outlot G, Clearwater Cove. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
