V. Continued Discussion on a Park Rules Ordinance (Derek Larsen <br />At the September 9, 2009 meeting, the Parks Commission continued discussion on a park rules <br />ordinance. Staff presented a recommendation for rules signs to be posted in active <br />neighborhood parks. <br />Larsen requested additional discussion on a park rules ordinance at the July 14, 2010 Parks <br />Commission. The Parks Commission review previous memos from Parks Planner Shayla <br />Syverson regarding the existing park rules, possible park rule language and rules signs in <br />neighborhoods and to continue the discussion at the August 11, 2010 Parks Commission <br />meeting. Derek Larsen will lead a discussion on a park rules ordinance. <br />Also, staff is requesting feedback on allowing reservations of the park shelters in the City of <br />Hugo. <br />VII. Discussion on Parks Budget <br />Staff will provide an updated budget with the expenditures of 2010 for discussion. Of the 2010 <br />Parks Goals, the Parks Commission has completed the first phase of development at Lions <br />Park within budget and reserved money for future development of the Hansen property and <br />Lions Park. <br />-3- <br />Parks Commission <br />August 11, 2010 <br />
