We are matriculating into a new grant cycle with new
guidelines and a new region, so I've been trying to wrap my brain around my new job duties and stuff. So,
I've went over the discussion that we've heard at all our park board hearings and where it looks like we
can come to a concensus. These are examples of how a policy can be structured, not necessarily what
we need to do verbatim. I will lead the discussion of why I included these policies for the Commission,
and then it would be best if we had a discussion about 1. what policy model would work best?; 2. Are
there entire parks that we feel should be entirely included?; 3. What park facilities do we want to include?
That should be an extensive enough discussion to pass something along to the City Council and finish
this discussion once and for all.
Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Derek K.
