Waters Edge 2nd Addition <br />and Diamond Point East are developments <br />that experienced the most activity. The <br />City's vacant lots are quickly dwindling <br />and the City anticipates seeing new <br />residential plats as a result of the limited <br />number of available lots. <br />Spring is a popular time for homeowners to <br />begin tackling a variety of home improve- <br />ment projects from simple repairs to entire <br />makeovers. Many of these undertakings <br />require a permit. Make sure to check <br />before starting work to see if your project <br />requires one. <br />Please call Building Department Secretary <br />Debi Close at 651-762-6300 for more <br />information on building permits. <br />Common Building Permits., <br />Plumbing: for bathroom and kitchen <br />renovations where plumbing infrastructure <br />is changed, moved, replaced, etc. <br />Electrical: for any project where electrical <br />infrastructure is changed, including finish- <br />ing a basement, bathroom and kitchen <br />renovations, rewiring, moving walls, etc. <br />Mechanical: for any project where <br />mechanical infrastructure is changed, such <br />as installing gas line, new HVAC unit or <br />duct work, gas fire place, residential <br />exhaust hood, etc. <br />Building: for any remodeling project in- <br />cluding but not limited to tearing down <br />walls, moving walls, roofing, siding, <br />replacing windows, decks or other <br />structural build -outs. <br />t_ecreat'ovu Progovws Cowt�v iced <br />The City of Hugo is proud to announce <br />that Skyhawks Sports Academy is offering <br />programs in Hugo at Harrill Fields Athletic <br />Park. <br />Monday, Aug. 12— Thursday, Aug. 15 <br />9:00am-12:00pm <br />Hanifl Fields Athletic Park <br />$79 <br />To register or for more information, please <br />go to www.skyhawks.com. Registration is <br />also available in person at City Hall. <br />Skyhawk's Mini -hawk Sport Camp <br />This multi -sport program gives children a <br />positive first step into athletics. Baseball, <br />basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, <br />structured environment with lots of encour- <br />agement and a big focus on fun. The Mini - <br />Hawk games and activities were designed <br />to allow campers to explore balance, <br />movement, hand/eye coordination, and <br />skill development at their own pace. <br />Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the <br />specific needs of young athletes. All par- <br />ticipants receive a t -shirt, soccer ball and a <br />merit award. The participant -to -coach ratio <br />is approximately 8:1. For ages 4-7. <br />SkyhawWs Multi -Sport Camp. <br />The mull -sport camp is designed to intro- <br />duce athletes to a variety of different <br />sports in one setting. For this program <br />soccer, basketball and baseball are com- <br />bined into one fun -filled week. Athletes <br />will learn the rules and essentials skills of <br />each sport along with vital life lessons <br />such as respect and teamwork. All partici- <br />pants receive a t -shirt, soccer ball and a <br />merit award. The participant -to -coach <br />ratio is approximately 12:1.
