BACKGROUND: <br />The Parks Commission and City Council included in their 2013 to evaluate a dog park. <br />At their meeting of February 13, 2013, the Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br />Commission outlined future discussions. Next steps include evaluation of location <br />options, master plan development, neighborhood meetings, and community -involved <br />construction of the park. <br />AT the meeting of March 13, 2013, the Parks Commission discussed location options for <br />a future dog park. <br />2. PROPERTY CRITERIA: <br />The Parks Commission established the following criteria for the location of a future dog <br />park at the meeting of March 13, 2013: <br />1. 10 acres in size (option to double would be a plus) <br />2. 20-40 parking spots <br />3.
