Spring Break: March 7-11 Daily 1:00-4:00 PM <br />Challenge yourself creatively over spring break with a Minecraft Build Contest! Compete with other <br />Minecraft players to master building challenges, or try out Minecraft for the first time! If you don't <br />already have a Minecraft account, a limited number of library Minecraft accounts are available for <br />public use. If you have your own Minecraft account, the first step to play on the Washington County <br />Library Minecraft Server is to get your Minecraft name whitelisted. Fill out a form online at the link <br />below. It may take up to 24 hours to whitelist a player. For ages 8 & up. Registration Required. <br />Knitting Crash Course Saturday, April 2 2:00-4:00 PM <br />Knitters never have to worry about how to stylishly survive the frigid winters of Minnesota. This is a <br />quick first lesson that will help you cast on and start your first knitting project. We will provide nee- <br />dles and some yarn to get you started. Are you ever disap- <br />pointed by the plot lines you see and read? Have the story YOUR way with Fan Fiction! Let the LOFT <br />Literary Center teach you how to carry on favorite story lines, ship your OTP, or give new life to a dis- <br />appointing ending. Registration required. Ages 13 and up. This program is funded with money from <br />Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. <br />Zentangle Art Saturday, April 23 2:00-4:00 PM <br />Tangling and doodling is a meditative drawing method that uses simple repetitive strokes to build <br />patterns that are combined to make a small work of art. Anyone who can draw a straight line and a <br />curve can learn to tangle. The process is very easy, relaxing and fun. Come and be surprised and de- <br />lighted by the designs you create.
