Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for May 16, 2016 <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br /> had worked with the applicant on the details and had been in contact with Woodloch Stables, <br /> who indicated they are very well prepared for this event. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br /> approved the Special Event Permit for the Forest Lake Wavermakers Color Run on Saturday, <br /> June 4, 2016 <br /> Approve Special Event Permit for MS150 Bike Ride on Sunday,June 12, 2016 <br /> The National MS Society had applied for a Special Event permit for their 150-mile bike ride <br /> from Duluth to the Twin Cities, held each year in June. The event is a fundraiser with proceeds <br /> going to finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. As in past years, riders will be heading south <br /> through Hugo on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Event organizers worked with MnDot for the use of <br /> the shoulder on TH61 and with Washington County and for the use of the Hardwood Creek Trail <br /> for this event. The City also received a copy of the certificate of insurance naming Hugo as <br /> additionally insured. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the use of the Hardwood Creek <br /> Trail for the MS 150 Bike Ride. <br /> Approve Resolutions Approving Preliminary Plat and PUD for Victor Gardens North <br /> Village 7"' Addition <br /> Kettler Construction, Inc. had requested approval of a PUD amendment and a preliminary plat <br /> for 33 townhome units (27 detached units and 6 attached units) on the 8.51 acre property. The <br /> applicant proposed the modification in order to develop a different style of townhome than was <br /> previously approved. The change resulted in a reduction in the number of homes on this site <br /> from 64 units to 33 units. At its April 28, 2016 meeting, the Planning Commission considered <br /> and held a public hearing on the request. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended <br /> approval of the draft resolutions approving the PUD amendment and preliminary plat, subject to <br /> the conditions listed in the resolutions. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved <br /> RESOLUTION 2016-8 APPROVING A PUD AMENDMENT FOR KETTLER <br /> CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR"VICTOR GARDENS NORTH VILLAGE 7TH ADDITION" ON <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF ROSEMARY WAY AND EAST OF ELMCREST <br /> AVENUE NORTH, and RESOLUTION 2016-9 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR <br /> KETTLER CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR"VICTOR GARDENS NORTH VILLAGE 7TH <br /> ADDITION" ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF ROSEMARY WAY AND EAST OF <br /> ELMCREST AVENUE NORTH. <br /> Approve Resolutions Approving Final Plat, Development Agreement for Clearwater Cove <br /> and 2"1 Addition <br /> D.R. Horton had requested approval of a final plat in order to plat 27 residential lots on a 7 acre <br /> parcel located south of Frenchman Road (CSAR 8) and east of Everton Avenue North. The site <br /> was a vacant outlot. The final plat will plat 27 lots from the approved Clearwater Cove <br /> preliminary plat. There were no changes to the lots from the preliminary plat. The lots met the <br /> minimum lot standards and requirements outlined in the regulations for the Clearwater Cove <br /> PUD. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2016-10 APPROVING A <br /> FINAL PLAT AND DEVLEOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR D.R. HORTON, INC.— <br /> MINNESOTA FOR CLEARWATER COVE 2nd ADDITION. <br />
