Minutes <br /> Par<s, Recreation, anc Open Space Commission <br /> Meeting of June 8, 2016 <br /> Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> Call to Order <br /> Present: Cathy Moore-Arcand, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranelle Tennyson,Tom <br /> Windisch <br /> Absent: John Pontrelli <br /> Staff Present: Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner, Debi Close Parks Secretary <br /> Windisch called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm. <br /> Shayla Denaway introduced Cathy Moore-Arcand as the new Parks Commission member. She read the oath <br /> of office statement and all commission members welcomed her to the committee. <br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from May Meeting <br /> Strub made a motion,Tennyson seconded to approve the minutes of the May 11, 2016 Parks Commission <br /> meeting as presented. <br /> Ayes. Moore-Arcand, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranelle Tennyson. <br /> Windisch abstained. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2. Bernin Property I_eare <br /> Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway introduced Bruce Bernin who owned the property at 6540 Greene Ave North. <br /> The City purchased the property in 2002 with a lease to allow them to continue living on the property. <br /> Bruce Bernin addressed the commission with regards to renewing the lease for an additional 10 years. <br /> Bernin thanked Hugo Public Works for their assistance on the property and shared about how he is <br /> continually culturing the trees and providing maintenance to the future park property. <br />
