Windisch made a motion,Strub seconded to approve the lease agreement with Bruce and Virginia Bernin at <br /> 6540 Green Avenue for an additional 10 year term for an extension through June 1, 2022. <br /> All Aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 3. I crest La<e YMCA <br /> Ranelle Tennyson gave an update from the YMCA Forest Lake Board. The open house will be on June 18, <br /> 2016. An invitation was sent to the Parks Commission and the public to see and use the facilities at the open <br /> house. The building has community rooms available for rent, cardio equipment,weight equipment, <br /> gymnasium, aerobic classes,fit classes, kid programing and of course swimming. The outdoor splash pad will <br /> be open to all public. <br /> Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway continued the review of the Parks,Trails, and Open Space Plan in anticipation <br /> of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan updates. The discussion included: existing parks,future open space plan, <br /> neighborhood park guidelines,grenways, past assessments/studies/standards, and the park classifications. <br /> Windisch requested staff to distinguish individual pieces of the plan for the monthly meetings to help <br /> determine changes on a smaller level. <br /> uthe <br /> r_ <br /> Recent youth activity on the City owned lot on Goodview Avenue has generated calls to the Sheriff's <br /> Department and complaints from an adjacent property owner dealing with loitering, unwanted debris, and <br /> some confrontations. <br /> Parks Commission members requested City staff to look into options with the City Attorney to help deter the <br /> activities. <br /> 6. Adjournment <br /> Windisch made a motion,Schmid seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:03 pm. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
