MINUTES FOR HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 20,2016 f <br /> Call to Order <br /> Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ! <br /> PRESENT: Haas,Klein,Miron,Petryk,Weidt <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> i <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear,City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney <br /> Dave Snyder, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> Approval of Minutes for the June 6.2016 City Council Meeting <br /> Petryk made motion,Miron seconded,to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting on <br /> June 6,2016 as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of the Agenda <br /> Weidt made motion,Klein seconded,to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> i <br /> Two residents asked questions on the status of a proposed development in the area of the <br /> northeast corner of 130'b Street and TH61. City Administrator Bryan Bear informed them a <br /> concept was to be presented to the Planning Commission on June 23,2016. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Washington County Library Strategic Plan—Director Keith Rvskoski and Commissioner <br /> Fran Miron <br /> Washington County recently completed the library strategic planning process. This 20-month <br /> process involved more than 800 people. Public participation in the form of surveys, <br /> questionnaires,forums,retreats,meetings and a public comment period resulted in a final <br /> strategic plan released in February 2016. Washington County Library Director Keith Ryskoski <br /> and Senior Library Manager at Hardwood Creek Amy Worwa were in attendance to talk about <br /> the plan. <br /> i <br /> Ryskoski explained the goals outlined in the plan were to deliver programs,expand public <br /> awareness,cultivate partnerships,and develop as a community technology hub. The goal to i <br /> improve facilities will be discussed in more detail at the July 12*workshop with the Washington <br /> County Board. <br /> Amy talked about their mission statement: Inspire curiosity, champion innovation and spark <br />
