Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 19, 2016 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />grants, and lack of projects on the 35E corridor. He encouraged the City to consider what was <br />needed locally and to pay attention to the RCWD rules and budget. He stated he would be <br />asking the District to reopen the governance study and see if any changes need to be made. <br />The Mayor thanked him for his role in Hugo receiving grants and for advocating for the City of <br />Hugo. <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Report <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the recent <br />activities of the Yellow Ribbon Network. On September 27, there will be a Shoot for the Troops <br />at Wild Wings that the YRN will be hosting. The YRN is also hosting a picnic at the Vets Camp <br />on October 1. On October 15, they will be holding a Welcome Home Pheasant Hunt. They are <br />also preparing for another care packaging event. They reminded everyone that Burger Night at <br />the American Legion will be next Wednesday, and will be sponsored by the Hugo Area Business <br />Association. <br />Sunset Lake Neighborhood Street Meeting on September 22, 2016 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that a neighborhood meeting was scheduled to <br />discuss a proposed street improvement project on Homestead Ave, 132"d Street, Homestead <br />Drive, and 126th Street. The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the <br />Rice Lake Centre at 7 p.m. <br />Citywide Bus Tour on Saturday, October 1, 2016 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that the 11th Annual Citywide Bus Tour for <br />Council, Commissions, and residents was scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2016. Participants <br />are to meet at Rice Lake Centre for a 10 a.m. departure and will return to the shelter at <br />approximately noon for a BBQ lunch. <br />Adiournment <br />Miron made motion Klein seconded, to adjourn at 8:28 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
