Minor Subdivision and CUP Request for 9052 1401' Street North. <br />DATE: November 1, 2016 for the City Council Meeting of November 7, 2016 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Agricultural (AG) <br />ZONING: Agricultural (AG) <br />REVIEW DEADLINE: November 18, 2016 (60 -days) <br />1. PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br />At its October 13, 2016 meeting, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and considered <br />the request. Staff recommended approval of the minor subdivision and CUP request. Brigg <br />Backer, the applicant, was present at the meeting and stated that the trust wanted to make sure the <br />plan was consistent with the character of the area and believed they accomplished that. No one <br />was in the audience for the public hearing. <br />The Planning Commission agreed that the applicant met the requirements necessary to approve <br />the minor subdivision and CUP request. They unanimously recommended approval of the <br />request to the City Council. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a minor subdivision of an approximately 32.68 acre <br />parcel located at 9052 140th Street North and a 20 acre parcel located immediately west of the <br />property. The applicant is proposing to combine the two parcels and split them into a 14.48 acre <br />parcel, a 20 acre parcel, and an 18.20 acre parcel. The conditional use permit (CUP) is for <br />approval of a shared driveway that provides access to an already established parcel to the north. <br />
