ORDINANCE 2016-476 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING HUGO CITY CODE, CHAPTER 90, ARTICLE II, <br />ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT <br />WHEREAS, on May 12, 2016 Governor Dayton signed into law the creation and regulation of <br />temporary family health care dwellings, codified at Minn. Stat. 462.3593, which permit and <br />regulate temporary family health care dwellings; <br />WHEREAS, subdivision 9 of Minn. Stat. 462.3593 allows cities to "opt out" of those <br />regulations; <br />CITY OF HUGO ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Hugo does hereby amend Chapter 90, Article I1, <br />Administration and Enforcement by adding the following section: <br />See. 90-48 Opt -Out of Minnesota Statutes <br />(a) Pursuant to authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593, subdivision 9, the City <br />of Hugo opts -out of the requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593. <br />SECTION 2. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction adjudges any part <br />of this Ordinance to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance <br />not specifically included with that judgment. <br />SECTION 3. Effective Date.
