Minutes <br /> Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br /> Meeting of December 14, 2016 <br /> Hugo City Hall, 7:03 pm <br /> Call to Order <br /> Present: Cathy Moore-Arcand,John Pontrelli, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell <br /> Tennyson <br /> Staff Present: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director; Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner; Debi Close, Parks <br /> Secretary <br /> Strub called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from November Meeting <br /> Cathy Moore-Arcand made a motion, Pontrelli seconded to approve the minutes of the November 9, 2016 <br /> Parks Commission meeting as presented. <br /> All Aye. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2. Upcate on Comprehensive Plan and Grant Applications <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner gave an update on applications for the Bikable Community Workshop and the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Partner Project which would be a part of the Comprehensive Plan updates. The updates <br /> will be assisted by WSB Engineering and Landform including mapping and research. <br /> Parks Commission members directed staff to continue to move forward with work on the comprehensive <br /> plan and the applications. <br /> 3. Annual Report <br /> Denaway presented the 2016 Annual Report of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission. <br /> Highlights include the new McCollar Park,trails, Lions Park workshop, Goodview Avenue property <br /> neighborhood meeting,Tour de Hugo, Public Works update and a recap of recreation programs. <br />
