City Projects Update
The entire Victor Gardens residential community continues to grow, adding new phases that will increase
the variety and types of housing available in this development. In addition to the residential activity,
the entrance to Victor Gardens will include a small commercial project. This project has already
started with the construction of a building located on the south side of County Road 8 at the inter-
section of Victor Hugo Boulevard. The building will house two commercial tenants—a day care
provider and a medical clinic. "It was always part of the plan that there would be a commercial
project at Victor Gardens,"notes Hugo Community Development Director Bryan Bear. He adds,"These
tenants fit in very well and are both needed facilities within the community." Barking dogs and dogs running at large are considered
a nuisance by many residents, so if you own a dog,the City is asking for your help. Please follow
Hugo's ordinance regarding dogs running at large and dogs that continually bark. If you own a
dog, your dog must be licensed, under the owner's control at all times, and must not bark repeat-
edly for more than five(5)minutes without at least a one(1)minute lapse in time. Please be cour-
teous and respectful to your neighbors. For more information regarding your pet, please visit the
, City's web site at www.ci.hugo.mn.us.
