G.9 Approval of Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Deyo Benefit on Sunday, July 17, <br />2016 at the American Legion <br />The Hugo American Legion Auxillary Post 620 is requesting a lawful gambling exempt permit <br />to conduct raffles during the benefit for Angela Deyo on July 17, 2016 at the Hugo Legion. <br />Angela was diagnosed with cancer in March 2015, and a benefit is being held to raise money to <br />assist in paying medical bills. Angela lives in Lino Lakes with her husband and three kids. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the lawful gambling exempt permit for the Deyo benefit. <br />H.1 Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easement — Clearwater Cove Outlot G <br />D.R. Horton is requesting a vacation of the existing drainage and utility easement located over <br />Outlot G, Clearwater Cove. The outlot will be used for the development of Clearwater Cove 2nd <br />Addition. New drainage and utility easements will be placed on the lots at the time the final plat <br />is recorded. Staff is comfortable with the applicants requests to vacate the drainage and utility <br />easements. Staff recommends that the City Council open the public hearing, take all comments, <br />and approve the notice to vacate the drainage and utility easement located over Outlot G, <br />Clearwater Cove. <br />I.1 Update on 147th/Oneka Lake Boulevard Neighborhood Open House <br />An Open House was held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 to allow residents to view the plans for <br />improvements to 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard between Foxhill Avenue North and <br />Goodview Avenue North. Staff will provide Council an update. <br />L2 Approve Resolution for Approving Plans and Advertising for Bids for 147th/Oneka <br />Lake Boulevard <br />At the March 7, 2016 Council meeting, a public hearing was held on the 147th/Oneka Lake <br />Boulevard proposed street improvements after which the Council ordered the preparation of <br />plans and specifications for the project. The plans have been prepared and were shared with the <br />affected property owners at an open house held on May 10, 2016. The plans are completed, and <br />the next step is for the Council to approve the plans and authorize the advertisement for bids for <br />the project. Staff recommends approval of a Resolution to that affect. <br />I.3 Approve Resolution Designating No Parking on 147th Street and Oneka Lake <br />Boulevard <br />City of Hugo has planned improvements for 147 Street North/Oneka Lake Boulevard east of <br />Foxhill Avenue North and west of Goodview Avenue North that do not provide adequate width <br />for parking on both sides of the street. Approval of the proposed construction as a State Aid <br />street project is conditioned on a restriction in parking. Staff recommends Council approve the <br />resolution designating no parking on 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard between Foxhill <br />Avenue North to Goodview Avenue North. <br />
