• Water, fruit, and muffins will be available free of charge. <br />Two 10' X 20' tents will be used, and there will be an inflatable arch at the <br />beginning/end of the race. <br />• Race organizers are working on having a Hugo Fire Department vehicle at the <br />event, and they will have staff trained in first aid. <br />3. REQUIREMENTS: <br />The applicant has provided the City the completed permit, signed Hold Harmless <br />Agreement, and permit fee. In accordance with this permit, the applicant shall conduct the <br />event as described herein and meet the following conditions: <br />Prior to the Event <br />1. The applicant shall provide the City a copy of the insurance for the event naming <br />the City of Hugo as additionally insured. <br />2. The applicant will notify all HOA's in the area of the road closure so they may get <br />the word out to their residents. <br />3. The applicant shall secure Washington County Sheriff's Deputies to be stationed <br />at specified intersections during the event, as recommended by the Sheriff's <br />Department. <br />4. One week prior to the event, the applicant will work with the Hugo Public Works <br />Department to place the electronic sign at the Frenchman Road/Oneka Parkway <br />intersection notifying road users that Oneka Parkway will be closed on May 6 <br />from approximately 8:45 a.m. -12:30 p.m. <br />5. The applicant will contact the Hugo Public Works Department to drop off <br />cones/barricades along Oneka Parkway at all intersections to be closed. <br />6. The applicant will place signage along the route notifying residents that a race is <br />in progress, as well as directional markers and caution signs. <br />7. All crossing guards will meet between 9-9:15 a.m. with the Washington County <br />deputies working the event to discuss procedures to follow along the route and at <br />all intersections. <br />During the Event <br />8. The applicant shall conduct the event in accordance with the approved plans <br />submitted with the application. <br />9. The applicant and all volunteers will comply with all directions from the <br />Washington County Deputies. <br />
