MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2017 <br /> Call to Order <br /> Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br /> Mark Erichson, Planner Rachel Juba, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> Minutes for the April 3, 2017 City Council Meeting <br /> Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 3, 2017 City Council <br /> meeting as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Minutes for the April 8, 2017 Good Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner <br /> Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 8, 2017 Good <br /> Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of the Agenda <br /> Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by adding a <br /> presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to Sergeant Joe Stoehr and to table action on <br /> Adelaide Landing Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Introduction of New Washington County Sergeant and Investigator <br /> At its April 3, 2017 meeting, the Council recognized Sergeant Wayne Johnson's retirement after <br /> six years as the sergeant in Hugo. Taking his place is Sergeant Joseph Stoehr who has been with <br /> the Washington County Sheriff's Office for the past 12 years, working his first six years as a <br /> deputy in Hugo. Also, included in the 2017 budget, Council approved the position of a <br /> Washington County investigator in Hugo. Selected to fill this position is Deputy Joe Zerwas. <br /> Washington County Patrol Commander Brian Mueller introduced them to the Council. <br /> Stoehr and Zerwas provided a brief background on their time with the Sheriff s Office. The <br /> Council welcomed them to Hugo. <br />
