Prior to the Event <br />1. The applicant shall provide the City a copy of the insurance for the event naming the <br />City of Hugo as additionally insured. <br />2. The applicant shall secure a permit from Washington County for the use of the <br />Hardwood Creek Trail and provide a copy to the City. <br />3. The applicant shall inform all volunteers and participants that the entire run route is <br />open to traffic and other sidewalk/trail users, and all laws must be obeyed. <br />4. The applicant shall install temporary directional markers and caution signs along the <br />route. <br />5. All crossing guards will meet prior to the run to discuss procedures to follow along <br />the route and at all intersections. <br />6. Applicant will secure necessary cones and signage for the temporary closure of the <br />Fitzgerald/Upper 146th Street intersection. <br />During the Event <br />7. The applicant shall conduct the event in accordance with the approved plans <br />submitted with the application. <br />8. Adult crossing guards will be at all intersections to direct runners. <br />9. Guards will not direct vehicular traffic. <br />10. Color packets will not be directed towards or sprayed near any vehicle, private <br />property, or individual not participating in the event. <br />11. Water will be available to runners along the route. <br />12. No food will be prepared and served on site. <br />13. Weather conditions will be monitored during the event, and it will be the applicant's <br />responsibility to delay/cancel the event if necessary or advised to do so. <br />14. Applicant will have personnel on site who are knowledgeable and capable of <br />administering first aid. <br />After the Event <br />15. All garbage shall be removed from Lions Park, City Hall property and the Hardwood <br />Creek Trail and properly disposed of. <br />16. All signage visible from a public street will be removed immediately after the close of <br />the event. <br />
