G.6 Approve Special Event Permit for Flips Gymnastics Color Run June on 10, 2017 Flips Gymnastics Booster Club has submitted a Special Event Permit application for approval of a 5K Color Run on Saturday, June 10, 2017 to begin at 9 a.m. at Lions Park. This event requires a Special Event Permit approved by Council because the event is expected to draw between 300- 600 participants and will include the use of City property and trail. The run will be held in conjunction with Hugo Good Neighbor Days, and the applicant has work closely with the organizers of the event. Staff recommends Council approve the Special Event Permit for the Flips Gymnastics Color Run on June 10, 2017. G.7 Approve Special Event Permit for Fable Hills Block Party on May 20, 2017 Pratt Homes has submitted a Special Event Permit application for approval to hold a neighborhood block party on Saturday, May 20, 2017. This event requires a Special Event Permit approved by Council because there will be alcohol served and there will be amplified sound from a DJ. Staff feels this event is relatively minor and will not affect the health, safety, and welfare of Hugo residents. Staff recommends Council approve the Special Event Permit for the Fable Hills Block Party on May 20, 2017 G.8 Approve Application for Water Surface Use Permit for David Strub on Sunset Lake On behalf of residents living on Sunset Lake, resident David Strub has made application to the City of Hugo for a water surface use permit to allow residents to water ski on the slalom course on the lake. Washington County Sheriff's Department has provided the application form that has been completed by David Strub. City staff recommends Council approve the application for a water surface use permit for a water skiing course on Sunset Lake. G.9 Approve Application for Water Surface Use Permit for Mike Ball on Round Lake On behalf of residents living on Round Lake, Resident Mike Ball has made application to the City of Hugo for a water surface use permit to allow residents to water ski on the slalom course on the lake and put a water ski jump on the lake. Washington County Sheriff's Department has provided the application form that has been completed by Mike Ball. City staff recommends Council approve the application for a water surface use permit for a water skiing course on Round Lake. G.10 Approve Resolution Approving Site Plan for Western Spring — 5118130th St. N. Western Spring Manufacturing has requested approval of a site plan to allow construction of approximately 35,000 square feet of industrial building on a 4.71 -acre property located at 5118 130th Street North. As its April 27, 2017 meeting, the Planning Commission reviewed the site plan and unanimously recommended approval. Staff recommends Council approve the resolution approving the site plan for Western Spring.
