Request for a Site Plan for ministorage <br />within the Peloquin Industrial Park to be known as "Gopher State Ministorage." <br />DATE: June 1, 2017 for the Council Meeting of June 5, 2017 <br />ZONING: General Industrial (I-3) <br />LAND USE: Industrial (I) <br />60 -DAY REVIEW DEADLINE: June 6, 2017 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br />At its May 25, 2017 meeting, the Planning Commission considered the site plan request for <br />Gopher State Ministorage. The Planning Commission had questions related to the management <br />of the site. The applicants were not present for this meeting, so staff answered Commissioners' <br />questions with information the applicants had provided them during previous meetings. The <br />Commission recommended approval of the site plan application, subject to the conditions listed <br />in the resolution. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a site plan to construct seven (7) buildings totaling <br />21,700 square feet for a ministorage facility. The 3.27 acre lot is generally located north of 152"d <br />Street and east of Forest Boulevard within the Peloquin Industrial Park. <br />3. CONTEXT: <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br />
