MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, MAY 15, 2017 <br /> Call to Order <br /> Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br /> Mark Erichson, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> Minutes for the April 29, 2017 Kidz `n Biz <br /> Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Kidz `n Biz event on April <br /> 29, 2017 as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Minutes for the May 1, 2017 City Council Meeting <br /> Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting on <br /> May 1, 2017 as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of the Agenda <br /> Weidt made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by adding notice on the <br /> Withrow School Celebration and removing the introduction of new Hugo Deputy Greg Reiter <br /> until a later date. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Introduction of New Hugo Deputy Gree Reiter <br /> This was removed from the agenda due to Deputy Reiter's inability to attend the meeting. <br /> Hugo Good Neighbor Days —Lions Member Dan Balthazor <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Hugo Good Neighbor Days Festival will be <br /> held Thursday, June 8fh - Sunday, June l Ph in Lions Park. The Lions were requesting Council <br /> approve co-sponsoring the event by waiving the Special Event Permit fee and providing police <br /> protection for the event, as in the past. Also for the Council to consider was approval of the <br /> fireworks display and an Off-Site Gambling Permit for the Hugo American Legion to conduct <br /> bingo. <br />
