MINUTES <br /> HUGO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS <br /> NOVEMBER 14, 2002 <br /> Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:30p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Puleo, Schumann <br /> ABSENT: Brunotte <br /> ALSO PRESENT: John Rask, Community Development Director <br /> Michele Lindau, Secretary <br /> Minutes of October 10, 2002 <br /> Puleo made motion, Schumann seconded, to approve the minutes of October 10, <br /> 2002. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Muellner Variance <br /> The Board considered the application of Leon Muellner, 14998 Francesca Avenue <br /> North, for a variance to permit a garage 20 feet from the rear lot line where 25 feet <br /> is required, and a variance to permit a 1,200 square foot accessory building where <br /> the ordinance limits the size to 260 square feet. <br /> The applicant owns three separate lots of record that total approximately 32,000 <br /> square feet. The applicant wishes to construct the garage on the lot south of his <br /> home for the storage of a recreational vehicle. Mullner said he would like to be <br /> able to sell the lot in the future as a separate home site. <br /> Schumann asked Mullner if it was possible to move the home further away from the <br /> lot line to meet the required setback and Mullner replied that it would not leave <br /> adequate maneuvering space when a home was built on the property. <br /> Puleo asked what the height of the building would be and Mullner said 12' sidewalls <br /> were necessary to store his motor home in it. <br /> Troy Miller, 14969 Foxhill Avenue North,said his home was adjacent to the property <br /> line he was requesting the setback variance from. Mr.Miller had concerns regarding <br /> the size of the proposed garage and the possible removal of the pine trees located <br />
